I went out a bought a bra - and for the first time in about two years I'm convinced it actually fits properly. And it makes my boobs look awesome! (Like, it's only a 12A, but still, I actually look like I have boobs for a change, not entirely flat or entirely padding). I'm just super excited about it, and I can't exactly go into the dining room and yell it out there. So here will have to do :D

i'm happy for you! it's nuts how great finding a good bra actually feels.

i keep on meaning to go to one of those fancy bra stores, get a fitting, and by a ridiculously-priced bra that might still feel comfortable and not succumb to gravity after a few wears.

I'm still terrified of getting a fitting - my first fitting experience was not fun. But I ended up getting so fed up of the fit to my bra that I did one of those online ones. This bra will probably succumb to gravity, but it'll be good while it lasts :)

Once I got an actual fitting and got a bra that was actually my size I was so happy! Best feeling ever.

The bra I'm wearing today is so uncomfortable. It reminds me of that episode of The IT Crowd where Jen's bra is uncomfortable and it makes it hard to work so Moss makes her this amazing bra that is perfect... except for one terribly unfortunate flaw.

I always think of that episode when I'm buying a bra. "All bras go bad".

But, I can never watch the episode all the way through, because I find the scene with the bra getting hot too embarrasing and painful.

That feeling is the best! I have 70D (32D?), and they don't sell that size at regular stores where I live, I have to go to special stores and it costs lots. I currently own three bras, and since I lost some weight, they're currently all too big.

Check if they have the same bra in different colors and STOCK UP dear anon.

The test for fit is actually the join between the cups. Does it fit flat against your sternum? Then it fits. If there's a gap between the bra and your skin, you need to go down a band size (and possibly up a cup size as well).

Luckily Australia's great for sizing. I'm 10DD and can find bras in all the stores in Melbourne.
