Reminds me a bit too much of POC who will call other POC "whitewashed" if they happen to disagree and take the less SJW-ish side of an issue. Not right.

Um...what? Anon never mentioned anything like that. You're kind of reaching here.

Calling someone "x washed" as an insult means that they have heavily assimilated into x culture so they can't relate as well with another culture, which DOES IN FACT HAPPEN. A LOT. Especially with children of immigrants, children who grew up more or less privileged, or children in neighborhoods mostly populated by x race/ethnicity/blah.

Other than that, I agree that it's not right to just claim a POC is whitewashed because they disagree with the "POC side" (God I hate that word).

There's no 'sides' or 'opinions' about shadeism, and being a POC doesn't mean you aren't socialized in the 'lighter the better' mindset either. Hell, a vast, vast majority of POC are brought up that way and have to learn how to deprogram it later on, some early, some never. So POC have every right to be mad about it when people like you rather take the POCs' 'opinion' because it keeps you comfortable even though that opinion is wrong.

And it's sad that the term SJW has went to the way of Mary Sue which is means the unfun person who dares to harsh squee.
