Whoa, what show is this? And what episode? It looks awesome!

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I can't remember the actual episode number but it's from midway Season 2. There's only two seasons (since Disney cancelled it in favour of a new series that is closer to the movies) but it's still a pretty awesome series.

Season 1 is currently on Netflix, and IMO way better than season 2. Season 2 feels really rushed for some reason, the arcs are kinda... idk, convoluted to me for some reason, but this episode really shines.

AEMH! Love this show so much. Unfortunately the fandom is tiny. The impression I've gotten is that all of the Avengers fandom is small except the movies. I've heard from fans that the only reason the comics section is so big on A03 is movie fans tagging their fics with the comic tag. I have no idea if it's true or not since it's not my fandom.

Avengers comics fandom is pretty small. If you're not into Steve/Tony, it's really small.

Yeah, there was enough Steve/Tony before the movieverse exploded to count as a fairly large fandom, but almost nothing of anything else, and it's all swamped by movieverse now.

I don't get the impression the comics fandom hates EMH, though! Everyone I know who's actually seen it or heard of it thinks it's adorable. That's just a tiny, tiny fraction of movieverse people, that's all.

As a pretty big movie fan, even I'll say that the bulk of the Avengers fandom is the movie fans. Comics and show are both pretty tiny in comparison to the movie portion of fandom.

I wish there was more fic for this show period.

Ditto. Some of the fics on AO3 are movieverse that got tagged with the cartoon tag. And only a handful on FFnet are worth reading. :c

The ultimate spiderman show on the other hand makes fandom a bit more divided...

most people are cool with it but (comparatively) few actually watch it.

I always thought most fans loved the show. It's so good.

I love this show. Also, Marvel Mash-Up.

Yeah, fandom must hate it - I mean, Yuletide barely acknowledges that AEMH is an independent canon and not just some clone of the movie-verse...

That annoyed me so much. The Hulk was the big issue who is completely different from the movie version. Anyone who tries to argue that they are the same obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.

It pissed me off that the AEMH character list got hacked in half when the mods didn't do that to any other Avenger related comic or cartoon. It just really came across as we don't want to listen to you, so bye. I was stunned when it happened. A legit small fandom got half it's characters cut while they let in other fandoms which get "3-6 fics a week" without any restrictions.

Wait, what? I thought Yuletide was all sparkles and rainbows and unicorns D:

Whaaat, I thought us Avengers fans loved it considering it's one of the best representations of Avengers comcis there ever was...

But I guess movie fans don't like it. Because it doesn't have COULSOOON. And Hawkeye is not their self-insert dark brooding emo. And Steve is actually awesome. :/

OP, ARE YOU ME? When I watched this episode, I started shipping this like CRAZY. I started up fic that I have yet to finish, which I will one day, but yes, there needs to be fic of this, and I'm so disappointed there isn't.
