i guarantee you that there WILL be a day where the "temperature required to leave blanket" and "level of fucks given" lines on my axis of daily life intersect. and then the blanket will happen, social sanctions be damned.

I bought one of those short fleece capes that have been going in and out of the trendy stores the last few years. It's a coat! Totally a coat. It's classy and adult and stylish. I am totally not walking around wearing a blanket. Nope.

I did the same thing when I was in college and you are right, it is very fashionable and not at all an excuse to wrap yourself in lots of cozy fabric and pretend you're in a blanket at home.
