oh yikes, is that actually a popular opinion?

like, i've heard people call lily a bitch, but that was mostly from people who thought snape/lily should've happened, rather than people calling lily a bitch because, i dunno, she wasn't good enough for snape or what have you.

I don't know about popular, but it's very loud in some places. Though there hasn't been any major wank for a while from what I know. People hate Lily for not being Snape's healing vagina doormat, while at the same time saying she was never good enough to be his healing vagina doormat.

Oh lord, are you lucky. There are a number of people out there who think that Lily was a bitch for not hanging around to fix Snape after he started openly flirting with an ideology that called for her extermination and throwing slurs at her, because his ~inner pain~ was more important than her physical and emotional well-being.
