Have no idea what Pitch Perfect is, but I may have to watch it just because of this. I need more femmeslash in my life.

It's a new movie out, but warning: it also has a stereotypical offensive 'ha ha look at that butch chick she must be a lesbian' portrayal.

I actually found that a refreshing subversion, because I was sure there would be a "twist" where she's not actually gay. When the group confession scene came up I was sure she was going to "come out" as straight (because that's so fresh and original! except to the point where it's totally not) but nope, her confession was something completely different... with a casual side of confirming that she had a girlfriend. The point I saw was that yes, many seemingly gay people are in fact, actually gay! But it's not our only important trait.

I wouldn't say I was surprised that she didn't come out because that's not something I see as really fitting the movie, but it did honestly seem like Chloe had a HUGE crush on Beca, and I would love to read fic about that. And I too would've preferred them ending up together, although I did love Jesse a lot, just because he seemed really genuine and awesome, and I liked the way his and Beca's relationship played out for the most part. tl;dr while I don't fully agree, I definitely can see your logic and also this movie was awesome.
