Ha, I started doing that too, before I quit watching it altogether (which was after Melina Kanakaredes left).

Funny, that's actually when I came back to the show. Not because I dislike Melina Kanakaredes, which I don't (I loved Stella), but because I love the way Sela Ward creates characters.

Having said that, though, I couldn't stand Lindsay – or Anna Belknap's acting, for that matter – then (back when I watched the show every week), and I still can't stand the character now. Ugh!

But yeah, OP, I do that too. It was cool back in the beginning, but now I wish that those 10 minutes (maybe more? Or does it just feel that way?) were spend on story/dialogue instead of the lab stuff. It's getting a little ridiculous, actually.

I didn't mind Lindsay, though I suppose if I had to rank the characters in order from most favorite to least she and Danny would be on the bottom of the list, right above Adam (I don't even know - I thought he was adorable up until S6 and then I thought he was intolerable).

I don't really know Sela Ward's work - I've only seen her on this and on House. I'm sure she's a fine actress, but Stella/Melina was my main reason for watching the show, and at least for me personally, Jo/Sela just couldn't compare.

God, yes, I miss Stella. I miss her and Mac's friendship. I miss their bond. What other show has the primary male and female leads with such closeness but absolutely no romance?

Not very many, that's for sure. Among shows I watch, only Warehouse 13 has done it. I do miss Mac and Stella's friendship - it was great.
