of course if it was an image of a male and female protagonist like that for a new series, it would not be considered pandering but this? PANDERING! PANDERING EVERYWHERE!

I'm playing devil's advocate here, but you can't really "pander" with a straight couple. It's the "norm." Kinks are "pandered" to, as in the argument the ayrt is making.

And how else are they supposed to market a show where the two main characters fall in love with each other?

Is it 'pandering to fangirls' when het romances are pimped in magazines?

Also way to pick one of the worst-looking examples. There are many that are far, far more implicative.
