Would it really? I mean, it's probably not, but maybe this is the Tavros that kissed the girl. Vriska even met a doomed John before too (the one from Davesprite's timeline).

the Tavros that Vriska killed that Gamzee prototyped with Vriska to make Tavrisprite, and then they split and started wandering the desert? [possible triggers] ...my guess is something happened to both of them when they were a sprite together. Maybe they're stuck with bits of each other's personality...or...something...

Probably. I'm kinda waiting on Vriska to actually show up and say things before I make all the theories.

idk, but I don't think Tavros is entirely out of character here, or that he's not himself anyways. it could just be that simply hanging out with her for a year, and being okay with being dead, means he's doesn't have much reason stutter around everything.

Tbh I don't either (I just enjoy my crack theories also I have a thing for psychics), he's always had kind of a jerk side to him. I could overanalyze both of them to death but I'm way too exhausted. I actually really love their entire subplot together and I like it when they interact and but I never expected them to suddenly be in a relationship. All the arguments about it are making my head spin actually, I just wanna enjoy the story.

Ooh, my favourite pet theory right now is that Meenah's accidentally created tons of extra offshoot timelines filled with ghosts because she's been asking her ghost pals if they want to join her militia. but i don't how time and stuff works in bubble space :(

One of the things I was really disappointed about was not seeing the SGRUB adventures they had before Vriska went god tier. They looked like they were actually having so much fun treasure hunting, and I really liked the idea of them balancing each other out (in my head canon).

But also, hey remember when Tavros hit on Jade right after using her grandpa as a bullet sponge? Maybe he's still a dork about rushing into things and having these feelings be forever unrequited? I hope so.

Haha same. See, when I read the update, I knew I'd have to avoid my usual discussion spots. I don't even have to confirm to know that the shippers are rejoicing, and that the anti-stans are flipping tables about this.

I meant if you skipped anything.

He's asleep or passed out though, and meandering around a dream bubble. Since he's god tier, he doesn't really have a dream self (bubbles are where you go during nap times when your dreamself or regular self dies).
