Re: Hauntingly bad fanfic lines/scenes?

Not so much a line/scene, but premise... once I happened to come across a Harry Potter fanfic which was a Draco/Ginny (strike one) songfic (strike two) that involved Draco dancing around and singing Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young" to Ginny (strike THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH STRIKES IN THE WORLD). Written back when everyone thought "Ginny" was short for Virginia, of course, but that was the LEAST of the problems with this fic.

Now every time I hear that song, I think of that fic and the mental image of Draco bouncing around Ginny cheerfully singing that song makes me crack up
