As did I. I don't really understand people who found Tennant!Doctor heartbreaky towards the end, when he was so over-the-top and caricatured ("I'm so, so sorry." *single tear*), and yet are left cold by Smith!Doctor.

Yeah. I mean, Angels Take Manhattan wasn't as epically heartbreaking as it was hyped to be, but it was interesting and bittersweet and made me tear up more times than I thought I would, considering my Ponds-investment is fairly low. And it was well-executed, I thought. Rewind to End of Time, when I seriously thought I would be crying buckets because I was so overinvested in Ten, and in reality I wound up chucking bits of popcorn at my screen and shouting "GET ON WITH IT" during the endless, self-indulgent goodbye sequence. Now THERE was an anticlimax.
