Did the guy playing Henry give the Saint Crispin's Day speech as if he was full of doubt and anxiety? Looking for moral support from his lieutenants? Beseeching the audience to pity him in his angst? Treating every line like a question, especially ones that should end in exclamation?

Because that was the worst Henry V I've ever seen. (Just fyi, It was a play put on by a Shakespeare troupe of reasonable repute)

That sounds painful.

No, it was done fairly straight. I thought he was ok: not stunning, but OK. Agree about Ben Wishaw - wonderful!

It was worse than that. He gave it with no army. You can do that onstage under the "muse of fire" exemption, because the audience is the vast body of troops he's rallying, but I swear, they had him standing in a 360-degree empty field talking to SIX GUYS. "For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother, be he ne'er so vile" loses some of its impact when literally everyone he's talking to is a close blood relative.

Yeah, the rest of it also sucked, but let's face it: if the rest of your Henry V is awesome and you fuck up St. Crispin's Day, you've wasted your time and should go home. So if the rest is mediocre at best AND you do the worst St. Crispin's Day I've ever seen or heard of... yeah. Your production is bad and you should feel bad.
