Why? It's been my experience that people outside of the US are more informed about the candidates than most Americans are. They have no business voting, but of course they can enter into a discussion about American politics just as Americans can enter into a discussion about the politics in other countries.

No, because if Americans dared to comment on another country's politics, we'd have our asses handed to us, because we're all stupid, self-centric pricks who know nothing of how the world works outside our shitty country. Or something.

The logic you're using basically boils down to, "if I can't have it, then no one can." It's pretty stupid.

There are so many things that we can't do anything about that we nonetheless talk about. That's kind of what most of fandom is.
