"There are some fucking serious problems in a child's life if he/she is so far gone that he/she says it would have been better if he/she has never been born. A child who was born and raised in a healthy and loving environment and doesn't suffer some serious trauma or from (mental) health issues, would never say such a thing."

Exactly. Every life has value, regardless of whether or not they realize it.

"... I was also brought up on Disney movies, but really now."

It's true, whether not not you want to admit it, it is possible to retain hope in awful, gutwrenching circumstances.

"I have no idea by now whether by "killing the baby" you mean aborting the fetus or killing an actual, living child who was already born, but I'm going to assume you meant the second one. "

For the first part of the sentence, I refer to killing the baby while it's inside the womb. For the second part of the sentence, I meant killing it after it was born.

"And since you are so willing to protect the rights of the "unborn children", I also hope to all the gods who are out there that you are also the first one to go to adoption centers to request that they give you all the babies the have."

I cannot afford an adoption, otherwise I would adopt a child, and yes I would adopt an older one, or a child that will not have a good chance of getting adopted. And you cannot expect one person to adopt every baby the center has; that is a completely impossible task and you know it.

"And I also hope that you are the first one to volunteer to help teenagers who had shitty lives on the streets after being thrown out from home and now have attitude/drug problems and are also involved in street crimes, or help those who were molested/beaten/tortured by their parents and now have a twisted view on the world.

And I also hope you spend your free time on helping women who had a horrible experience with pregnancy (they were forced by their family/community/husband to carry the kid, after the pregnancy started they started to view their body as something alien and deformed, they suffer from port-pregnancy depression) to cope with their current life.

And I also hope you spend as much time on fighting against domestic violence as you spend on angsting over the rights of the "unborn children". "

How do you know I don't?

You are making some awful untrue assumptions about me that I do not appreciate. You don't know anything about me, so don't assume I'm someone who bitches on the internet but does nothing to help the disadvantaged.

Exactly. Every life has value, regardless of whether or not they realize it.

It's true, whether not not you want to admit it, it is possible to retain hope in awful, gutwrenching circumstances.

For some reason I'm starting to think that you are on happy pills. Which is good! It helps to cope with reality, buuut it's not the best idea to take them when you try to analyze the world and life and such.

And you cannot expect one person to adopt every baby the center has; that is a completely impossible task and you know it.

And you also cannot expect a woman to carry a fetus she does not want to carry. You do not know what kinds of living conditions other women live in, or how an unwanted pregnancy would effect their psyche. For many people, especially younger people, having a kid means giving up your life because not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to pay a nanny or have a free grandma to take care of the runt. For a single mother finding a man is almost fucking impossible, because most men don't want to "raise another guy's monkey". Women are basically fucked at many workplaces if they get pregnant because their bosses can fire them with some made-up reason the moment they learn that their money makers won't be making any more money for them for the next following X months. Some women hate kids and don't want one sliding out from between their legs. Some women are mentally or physically too unstable to carry a child. Some women would develop mental problems if they were forced to carry something in their belly without their consent. Some women in poorer rural areas, where they were taught that abortion is bad, manage to keep their pregnancy secret, give birth on the garden toilet, kill the baby, bury it in the garden, and keep doing this with their following kids as well until somebody points it out to the police that "hey, girl had a pretty big belly yesterday, where did it go?". Some kids would be born with the kinds of disabilities that would hinder both the kid and their parents from ever having a normal and full life. Some women are raped and for a very understandable reason many of them do not want to carry the child of a monster in their womb (not to mention the burden it puts on a person's shoulders when they somehow learn that they were conceived via rape).

How do you know I don't?

Do you? Because I don't, but I'm also not judging my fellow women who choose abortion instead of subjecting themselves to pregnancy due to social pressure.

Also, our planet is already fucking overpopulated.

You are making some awful untrue assumptions about me that I do not appreciate. You don't know anything about me, so don't assume I'm someone who bitches on the internet but does nothing to help the disadvantaged.

And you also don't know anything about other people's lives and yet you think you can judge them and horn into the decisions they make about their own lives, decisions which will in no way affect yours. (and subtly trying to wake some remorse in us by referring to the fetus as "baby" and to abortion as "killing")
