saw the other thread, and it got me thinking: are there any other Hourglass girls out there? I'm the only girl I know with an hour-glass figure, all my friends are sleek and banana-shaped.
I tend to make my own clothing, because I find modern clothing just doesn't work for me. It's mostly built for bananas, which is fine, because the are the majority, it makes sense they should cater to them. Whenever I do buy clothing at the store I have to buy a little bigger than I should because the item will be a perfect fit and then it gets to my butt or boobs and it's tight as hell. Then when I get something that's a comfortable fit around my boob or butt area it'll be a total, baggy sack around the rest of me. I love using vintage styles to inspire the clothes I make. I find for example, that classic 50s bathing suit works perfect on hour-glass shape.
Any other fashion tip/woes from other hourglass ladies?
