I was upset that scans_daily got shut down on LJ, but I couldn't really blame PAD for that. All he did was let Marvel know it existed, and he was upfront about that when asked. And maybe it was some form of petty revenge, but someone in the comm DID tell him to DIAF for no real reason

He had every right to set Marvel on them at the time. I think the post that caused all the drama contained the last half of the newest issue he'd specifically asked readers not to spoil. It sucks that the community got shut down but the posters weren't exactly smart about their choices.
