This is why, even though I am currently geting hooked on K-pop, I am staying far, far away from the fandom and just listening to the catchy music/watching the pretty videos solo. All the good stuff, none of the crazy. :P

I can also recommend variety shows! IF you're into the bands but don't want to get mixed up with the fanclubs (altho you usually can find a safe smal corner of fandom--I stay away from the fanficcy areas and follow a v. small list on tumblr, lol).

Variety shows are great in general, but it's double funny when you have the polished pretty performers from the music videos doing things like shoving their faces through plastic wrap frames and doing over-the-top charades. ^^
