I didn't have a headcanon like this, but I shipped Hicox/Stiglitz like crazy back when I was in the IB fandom. 100_scalps on LJ had some pretty good fics, and they're probably still there, though the comm hasn't been active in nearly two years. The fics usually center on an AU where they survive and become lovers afterward, though. Still, that pairing definitely produced some of the better fic in that fandom.
