SJW's seem to be pretty underhandedly -ist on a lot of issues. I was absolutely disgusted at some of the things I read about their treatment of people with disabilities in the threads to those MLP secrets a few months back.

They come up with some pretty convincing rhetoric though, and they seem to like being offended just about as much as I hate the idea that I might possibly offend someone else even unintentionally, but I just can't rationalize that "redefinition" of the word racism that excludes anyone with light skin from ever being victims of racism based on status as a racial majority, as anything but racism on the SJWs' part.

Sorry to say, but SJW didn't developed the so-called "redefinition" of racism (which was already redefined by White majority in the first place when racism started to be not cool). Racism as power + prejudice is not something new or the SJW had made up considering that concept is older than that (older than a lot of people on F!S actually). SJWs appropriated that like all of the stuff they spout but have no actual personal part in.

Maybe so, I admit I don't know. But it still doesn't sit right with me to bar an entire race from using the word based on their race. I'm gonna have to go with the dictionary.com definition someone posted below on this one. Even if only for moral reasons.

Above anon, but I would actually like a link to wherever you got your information.

That's true. However, in an academic setting, we call that Institutionalized racism. And our Professor made it very clear that there are different types and forms racism out there.
The SJWs are claiming that the institutional definition is the only one, which is just untrue, and unfair, considering if you don't have a University education there's no way you'd know of that definition. It's better to use layman's terms in a public forum, keep academic language to an academic setting.

All I can think of when I read this thread is Kankri. The more I think of it the more unsettlingly spot-on that parody persona is.
