I'm still trying to figure out who decided that racism, by definition, includes an element of power. (Or sexism, yes. Misandry exists, and in some instances it's even practiced by men against other men.) It may be true that minorities can't engage in widespread systematic oppression of white people, but they sure as hell can, and do, discriminate against them on an individual and even a small-scale systemic level.

And no, it is not unimportant or okay that these things happen because men and white people overall have unfair advantages. Two wrongs do not make a right. Discrimination is discrimination, prejudice is prejudice, and nobody should be doing it to anyone else, period, because it all fucking sucks.

Because they want it as narrowly defined as possible so they know exactly who the enemy is. White people are being racist. Anyone else is just fighting against oppression. Even if it's minority against minority. People always seem to forget that even happens in these arguments.
