No K/McCoy though, are you crazy?
not OP but... why not?
I even think that they had more subtext than K/S (in the movie that's it) and they don't even have to deal with het pairs

K/S is my OTP, why would I want them to have subtext with other characters? I don't dislike het at all, I just don't want Kirk or Spock to fall for anyone but each other (and I have until next film, when Kirk will get his obligatory designated female love interest, to wish it could happen).

My tone was very much not serious, though, I hope that was evident.
