Ben Whishaw as Q in the new James Bond flick.

(And, I have to say, Q was always my favorite, and I find Ben Whishaw so, so attractive. I don't really know what to do with myself.)

I know just what you mean! It's very odd fancying a Q, because Q was my childhood hero/imaginary grandpa (my mother correctly guessed I was distraught when Desmond Llewelyn passed). But then again, it's the delightful Ben Wishaw, who I've been cheerfully admiring since The Hollow Crown earlier this year.

Gah! When they showed Bond meeting Q in the first full trailer, I was like "NEW SLASH SHIP AHOY!!!" That aside, he looks like he'll be a fun addition---all quiet and nerdy, but hiding such a dangerous genius. So excited!
