Dammit I need to use a Norwegian expression, I'll just translate it: understand me wrongly, it's not that I'm not nice in real life, I'm just nicer (for the most part) on the Internet, I'm more likely to use enddarements and ask people how they are doing or wish them luck than I'm in real life, I'm also a lot more understanding when I discuss stuff with people online, in real life I'm a lot more blunt in my opinion and so on...

The equivalent English expression would probably be "don't get me wrong". /butts out

But I didn't want to use the English one, I wanted to use the Norwegian one! It fit perfectly, except when I translated it. *stomps feet*

In all seriousness though, yeah that was the expression I needed, so thanks!

Which is generally the problem with expressions [and generally why it's easier to just use the expressions that are already in the language. /lazy]
