Never gonna happen. Teen shows don't touch on non-heterosexual sexuality unless it's the sole point of the character. They certainly don't do it with the two main characters.

What about Danny then? His role is to be the sidekick and best friend, and the fact that he's gay is only secondary and not the sole point of the character.
Also, Scott (main character) has flirted with Danny more than a few times. The way I see it, is that homosexuality isn't a big deal in the show. Scott is straight, but the world in TW isn't as heteronormative as you seem to think. (There are those hints that Stiles and Erica may be bisexual, too.)

Scott is technically the main character, I'd say, but there are 6 characters that make up the core cast (although one of them is leaving next season).

Haha, well, parts of the fandom would make it seem that way, but no. Stiles is one of the main characters, but the main-main character is Scott, Stiles' best friend. Stiles is more like the sidekick/comic relief guy. Derek is another of the main characters and serves as a sometimes maybe kind of mentor, but also in that group are Allison, Lydia and Jackson. Derek and Stiles get a reasonable amount of screen time, but the show is really an ensemble cast. Also, Derek and Stiles don't have that many scenes together, relatively speaking.

Nope! He's the best friend of the actual main character and sort of a side kick. Although Stiles is definitely in the core group of characters within the show.

Actually, there's already one character on the show who's canonically gay (and actually gets a personality outside of that and is pretty well written, imo), and the show runner has hinted at a second non-hetero character coming in next season.
