Candidates so out of touch with women this election...

(Anonymous) 2012-10-18 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
First with Paul Ryan's 'anti-choice/anti-planned parenthood' comments, his numbered bills against women, now Romney's "Oh well women need time to go home to cook dinner!" comment. And of course Romney taking credit for 'binders' when he never asked for them. It was a bi-partisan act between dem/rep women in MA.

Is it honestly this hard to respect women as human beings in this day and age? I know Republicans love and romanticize the 50's, but god damn.

That was soooooooooo painful last night. I was cringing. WIMMENS GOTTA HAVE A FLEX SCHEDULE SO THEY CAN GET HOME AND INTO THE KITCHEN (where they belong)!

And don't get me started on the anti-birth control and anti-planned parenthood bullshit.

I was watching CNN, so I don't know what camera angles other stations were using, but did you see when Romney made those BC/PP comments and there were four women in the section of the audience he was addressing --- ALL giving him the stink eye.

I watched the live youtube version, by which I mean I don't remember what channel it was, and there was one priceless shot where Romney said something like, "And I think I speak to all Americans-" and the camera showed him talking to the section of the audience that was entirely composed of white guys in suits.

I love the camera guy.
