Yeahhh, it's not just thin people who think you're overreacting a tad. It's just a tekken character (and to be fair, Bob looks a lot more creepy when he's fat. Dat smirk).

Whether or not I'm overreacting is a matter of experience and opinion, so that's fair enough. However, what I reacted to wasn't the secret -- it was the "You know, it's not that serious. Really. It's not that serious." comment.

Doesn't matter if it's this subject or another, or even if it had been said to someone else. I just find it extremely respectless and belittling to make a statement like that; as if it's a fact. Had s/he said "I don't think it's that serious." (i.e. her/his opinion) I wouldn't even have responded.
