Aw, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I've been tempted to do the same, at times -- it sucks to mainly be into obscure series that don't even have fandoms.

That said, something about Kuroko should ideally interest you -- whether it's the basketball or the BL potential or whatever -- otherwise I think you'll end up being miserable.

I got into it for the crushing, overwhelming gay. An active, friendly fandom is a nice bonus.

the fandom is actually impressively active and talented but also, i hate to say it, feels kind of cliquey. most people seem to have migrated in clusters from other fandoms with established friendships and i'm sure they are nice people but there's something that makes me reluctant to engage with a lot of people in it outside a passive reader level.

(also some fans come off as huge manga snobs which makes it a little difficult to get into it if you're coming from just watching the anime imo)
