Christian (and follows the same basic rules and beliefs I do, although I'm fine with disagreeing some), respects women, wouldn't make fun of me for my interests, likes kids and would be fine with adopting kids, and someone that I feel like I can be honest with.

* Has long-term goals that are compatible with mine, and has the same idea about where the relationship is going as I do.

There are probably a few others. It would be nice if I found them attractive.

Must want to be with me.

Must be both physically and intellectually attractive to me (no specific requirements here - I just have to feel it).

Must not be abusive towards anyone or cruel towards animals.

Must not want kids.

Must be morally/philosophically/religiously/politically compatible. We don't have to agree on everything - or even much of anything - but we do have to be able to agree to disagree because I could never stay with someone who assumes he will convert me at some point down the road or who picks fights or sees me as inferior for what I believe. Also, as a woman, I couldn't be with anyone who was misogynist or overtly sexist and wanted to actively oppress/take away freedoms from women, even if he was willing to make "exceptions" for me.

Must be compatible as a roommate.

Must be sexually compatible.

Must be financially competent and compatible with me - he doesn't need to have money, he just needs to be capable of being responsible with it and we generally need to see eye-to-eye about what our spending priorities should be.

Wow, that was a longer list than I thought. And here I figured I wasn't picky...

Shit, I don't know. I've never really given it much thought, I just sort of date whoever, but going by my track record, physically attractive seems to be the one common denominator. Most of my friends are penis possessors, so I'm not really in relationships to make yet another dude friend. It has to be a dude I want to fuck. I'm completely emotionally and intellectually satisfied by my friends/family/work, so that's really the sole requirement: attractiveness and sexual compatibility.

I guess they've also all been quite a few years younger than me, so I guess that might be a thing, too. I don't like older men and never have - they remind me of my father, and nothing's quite a lady!boner killer like thinking of your fucking dad in the bedroom.
