I don't understand the hate for either one of the outfits, I think he looks great no matter what!

Yup, he's shiny as hell in both of them. /vain.

The older one is cooler and more ~rugged~ while the new one looks more like something you'd see out of a comic book. Also, it's tighter. Again, imo.

But hey, he could wear his leather jacket (and only his leather jacket) and I'd be good. *shrugs*

Also, I think streamlining the costume (because the fabric/tech is there to do it) makes it easier to maneuver in. Both costumes are great but the updated version makes sense.

That's a good point, actually. There's more going on with his older costume and it looks a bit heaver too; it's probably easier to fight in the updated one. Plus, the materials are probably sturdier too.
