I HATE THIS GUY.

I just had to get that out.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-20 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh right, that guy. Well, he probably knows best--it's not like he's had his sister die giving birth in a maternity ward, so it clearly never happens, right?

/that fucking fucker

D:

The most horrifying thing is knowing some people out there are either going to believe that despite all the evidence to the contrary, or support him anyway despite knowing what dangerous bull shit he is spouting.

Totally. My initial reaction to things like this and Akin's whole "legitimate rape"/"shut that whole thing down" statement is to laugh uproariously, because seriously, dude, don't you know anything about anatomy at all? But then my laughter dies away as I remember that there must be a lot of other people out there who are ignorant enough to believe this and are probably nodding sagely at these comments.

It's frustrating not just from a women's rights standpoint, but also because these are men of means in a developed country who therefore have access to the internet, libraries, and a variety of professionals in medicine and science they could consult with. They have no excuse for not knowing how ridiculous they sound except for laziness, stupidity, and willful ignorance so as to maintain a particular agenda and they get to be in positions of power.

Oh Christ, this guy again? He keeps popping up in the news for being a horrible douchebag. He's not going to win -- not in Illinois. How he got into office in the first place is a mystery.

Photobucket

Change the 'you' to 'him'.

That guy should just keep his mouth shut because he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about and everything out of his mouth is so fucking stupid and offensive I can't even.

Oh he's probably the least viable candidate the Tea Party has on offer right now. It's kind of amazing to watch his self-destructive spiral.

Change that to 'amazingly painful' and I agree. Though I guess the numerous levels of idiocy he's displayed thus far is somewhat impressive at this point.

Oh gosh, what an idiot. Who the hell is handing out PhDs in gynecology at Walmart? Whoever it is, they need to stop.

When will we women learn that well-educated men in powerful positions truly know what's best for us and our ovaries? I mean, look at all that knowledge he's using! LOOK AT IT! Look at how much he knows about science and technology! He knows what's up.

I don't think you're giving enough credit to how progressive they are. I mean they do have binders for us now, that's a big step. I mean if I ever had a strange idea that I wanted to work (LOL I know), I can get put in a binder and some man will pick me. Plus I'd be home in time to cook dinner for Ward and the boys.

I'm not American and from what I understand, this guy is not the only person who is grossly uninformed about women's health and running for office? How can people like him receive enough money and support to run a campaign? How?

I'm scared for your people and your country.
