ikr? That, plus that speech in the car (that was changed from being about his and future Dean's relationship just sayin') about "burying himself in women and decadence" sounds a lot like overcompensation tbqh. And who else do we know that does that -- oh yeah.

This might be the answer. Cas idolizes Dean. Dean drinks and sleeps around, maybe pops pills, who the fuck knows. And Dean is the guy in charge in the Croatoan alternate future. So Cas is getting all his ideas of what to bury himself in from Dean, who, while having rather bisexual tendencies, overtly expresses his heterosexuality in speech.

Well, why would his sexuality or lack thereof even concern solely humans for that matter? He is completely different species and ancient by any standards, so as I see it, he might as well get hot and heavy with a rabbit or a ladybug. Maybe that's why he's been so interested in bees lately. It's not like humans are all that closer to his level of development.

And personally I found that kiss between Cas and Meg even harder to believe, because he is supposed to see demons' true forms. Maybe that was to show how far he was ready to go slumming?

As hot as the Meg/Cas kiss was, and as much as I kind of ship them for the fucked-up-ness of it all, that kiss made so little sense in context. If Cas was going to grab someone and kiss the life out of them, why not grab Sam or Dean or someone he actually likes? Meg is awesome, but she killed Ellen and Jo and has tried to kill the rest of them how many times?

It's a good example of the writers not knowing WTF to do with Cas for large parts of season 6 and thrusting him into the overly goofy comic relief/fish out of water role. It also kind of came across as the writers trying way, way too hard to troll the fans, and while I am all for the occasional trolling, when you let it get in the way of actual plot and characterization, it's gone a bit far. Also, you really don't need to try quite so hard to prove that Cas is totes into the womenz.

If the writers really wanted to troll the fans, it would turn out that Meg was originally a guy. After all, wasn't Meg the name of the first possessed girl, not the name of the demon?

Yes, Meg Masters was the first possessed girl's name, making it highly unlikely that name has anything to do with Meg's real name.

Except "Meg" was referred to as the yellow-eyed demon's daughter. So, the demon was a she too.
