(Anonymous) 2012-10-21 01:21 am (UTC)(link)Anyhoo, I've read some of the first YA issues, and I thought they were ok, and I also read a bit of the Children's Crusade, which didn't really appeal to me at all.
Are there any really brilliant original YA story arcs that anyone would like to recommend? Or do you guys think it's just not my thing?

(Anonymous) 2012-10-21 04:28 am (UTC)(link)I'd recommend the Young Avengers/Runaways Civil War and Secret Invasion tie-ins, since they're my personal favorites. The Young Avengers presents comics are also good for getting a handle on the individual team members. Patriot's and Wiccan's would be my personal favorites as far as those are concerned, although the others are decent to good (some of them being a bit more shakily written than others). There isn't a whole lot to choose from for YA thus far, which is kind of both a blessing and a curse.
