I also don't understand why his hoodie has wings and the letter A on them when it was clearly designed to go under his helmet. It just seems an unnecessary affectation. Actually, I think that's what bugs me about it: there are so many little things put on it to look "cool", whereas the old was one functional. I get that he's a symbol now and they want to make him look a certain way, but the little bits of useless crap on it (like the zippers) detract from that.
As for the make-up, Steve and Loki's is just really badly blended. Steve's ends right at his hairline in a visible line at some point. And during the Loki/Natasha scene, they didn't blend the shadows under Tom's cheekbones at all, so he's got these two dark lines cutting down his face. Maybe it's what they were going for, but I keep wanting to reach out and blend it away.
