Welllll, the good news is that he is being featured in a plot line again instead of just being off to the side (it seems like he got shafted last season. or maybe it was the season before last. the way degrassi breaks up their airing confuses me)!

the bad news is that his plot line involves him dating this ultra christian girl whose family thinks Adam is "confused" and eventually she dumps Adam because she thinks she needs therapy for liking him in the first place (of course I'm sure that EVENTUALLY she'll get over it and the ~power of love~ will overcome their problems and they'll get back together). I KNOW THAT DRAMA IS YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER, DEGRASSI, BUT CAN'T YOU JUST LET ADAM BE HAPPY?

GODDAMMIT

I just want Adam to be happy. He's, hands down, my favorite character in the entire series (and I've been watching since it began--damn, I feel old). I would seriously watch an entire series of nothing but him being the straight-man in this bizarre melodramatic high-school drama-world--it would be hilarious.

(I generally don't ship things, but I kinda ship Clare/Adam. I wish they'd wound up together.)

I'm always down for Clare/Adam but I've always been a bit more into Clare/Eli/Adam. All three of them used to have such a cute dynamic together (they still do, but they don't all three hang out together as much)

And I agree that Adam is a great character! I think Bianca is my favorite right now though (even though she's frustrating me at the moment). Her relationship with Drew and Adam's mom is my favorite thing about the show (or it WAS until recent events. goddammit Degrassi, you better fix this)

I've been watching TNG literally since it started and I can't tear myself away. It's a terrible show and the plots are only getting steadily more ridiculous, but I love it anyway. I'll stop watching when I'm dead @_@
