18. I don't know if "overrated" is the right word. "Overhyped", I suppose, but saying CLAMP is overrated is sort of like saying The Beatles were/are overrated. Whether you like their stuff or not, you can't say they haven't had an impact on manga. The amount of genres they have incorporated is impressive, their staying power and their ability to reinvent themselves as often as they have deserve some admiration. I don't particularly like Reiji Matsumoto, John Grisham or J.R.R. Tolkien's works, but I would never say they were overrated. Each of them has contributed something significant to their field. Paris Hilton aside, popularity doesn't exist in a vacuum. They're well-known and admired for a reason.
