Well, there are a lot of European/Anglo names that I like a lot, and I'm Mexican too, so there's nothing wrong with that.

As long as you don't name your kids like some people do -such as Kevin Francis Brian López Ramírez >_< nooooooo just nooooooo- everything is alright.

Just curious, where is Piper from? I've only heard it as a surname or a word (like Peter Piper, or the Pied Piper).

I've heard it used as a first name a few times. The wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piper has a few examples of famous women named Piper.

As for where I heard it first... it was from Storm Hawks, okay? There was a character named Piper and I liked the name.

For boys, I really like the name Julian. I also like Damian, Dorian, Exton, Felix, and Samuel.

There aren't really any girls' names I like a lot. I have some pretty interesting name in my family for girls, though, so if I ever have a daughter I'll probably name her after one of the female relatives I actually like.

I tend to like really unusual names.

For girls, some of my favorite names are Sequoia, Kara, Aurea, Seria, Juna, Lila, Lyric, and Shion.

For boys, Dusk, Yuuki, Angel, Forto, and Silver.

I don't intend to have kids so I probably will not inflict any of the weirder names on actual people. But I did name my cat Lila. Not that Lila is a weird name, though.

My real name is Sequoia, and I love it. Don't be afraid to name your kid something more unusual if it speaks to you. In 34 years I was teased about it exactly once, by one girl in the 5th grade looking for something to pick on, and it didn't really bother me because again, I love my name :) I do have to spell it for people but that's really not a hardship. I feel thankful and happy that I have a weirder name, and have never felt like something was inflicted on me ;)

My favorite names are currently Branwen, Ramona, Ariel, Amelia, Aurelie, Julie, and Violet for girls, Rowan and Harry for boys (nothing to do with Harry Potter, I've liked it since kindergarden and the Harry The Dog books).
