And what is your point? I am still pissed that male superheros will always be seen as so bankable no matter what and female superheros will rot in corners and cameos, never getting their own movies.

She is? I'd seen some rumors about there being a Black Widow movie right after Avengers came out, but I haven't seen anything since then, and since they've announced all their "Phase 2" movies and Black Widow wasn't on the list, I assumed it wasn't happening after all.

Genuinely not picking a fight here but have they actually released any more details on her movie? I heard some talk about it during the post-Avengers high that Marvel was riding but I haven't heard anything about it since, not even saying that yes she really is getting her own film.

Yeeeah, it's not gonna happen. That article dates back from May. No mention of it at the Comic Con panel a few months later, when Marvel announced their lineup. I'd like to be optimistic but this would go past optimistic and well into delusional.

Yeah adding to the chorus of not being hopeful here. It's a better article than the first one I saw but as others have said, since nothing has been mentioned about a Black Widow film at any of the cons I don't see it happening anymore. :(

I would love to be proven wrong though.
