seriously TMI question

(Anonymous) 2012-10-22 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry FS, this is a super awkward question but bear with me. I think I have a zit on my, uh, ladyparts, and it's kinda freakin' me out. It's on my outside lips, so it's not in a super danger zone or anything, but I am still worried. Is this even remotely normal? Do I just wait for it to go away....? I'm 90% sure it's not indicative of an STD, but I'm still a little concerned.

It happens sometimes. Might be an ingrown hair. Keep clean and see if it goes away after a couple of days.

Totally normal, especially you shave that area.

Don't stress it too much. Like others have said, keep it clean and keep an eye on it. It'll probably go away. They're really common if shave down there, but they can still happen even if you don't.

(My first one worried me too.)

I've had that. Unless it doesn't go away in a normal amount of time or more pop up I wouldn't worry about it. (I get them all the time and I don't shave. xD)

It happens sometimes. Don't worry about it too much. Sucks though, you have my sympathies.

It happens. Wring out a washcloth in water as hot as you can stand, and apply that to bring it to a head, then pop it like any zit.

It's happened to me a few times. It's super-painful. Oh, and don't be freaked out if there's blood. The first time it happened to me, I freaked. But I went to the doctor, and he said it's no big deal, just a zit.

Does it hurt a lot? I had one of those once, and I was freaking the FUCK out that it was a spider bite or something. Turned out to be a normal gland abscess; a hot washcloth applied several times got rid of it.
