HAHAHAHAHA. I was there for that, and no. There was no "Europe is a monolith" in that conversation. What there was was "The US has regional differences," stated exactly as written. You then decided that this MUST mean that every American thinks the US has more diversity than all of Europe, and began a ridiculous crusade to try and persuade everyone that, having spend a ~whole entire YEAR~ over here, you knew ever so much more about our culture than we, the native-born, do. You were, as I recall, literally the only person to be holding these beliefs in the entire wankfest.
