well to be fair it's not generally the author's fault if they were recced and you ended up disappointed.

True. I was thinking about them not labeling it non-con, or doing a bait-and-switch, or just being really offensive.

But as I said, I'm not sure I'd be happy if such a thing were actually implemented because it could so easily be abused.

Oh yeah I'm totally on the same page as you. I was replying to anon who talked about recced fics that turn out to be terrible. I don't think it's fair to blame someone for being recced, lol. Even if the fic IS terrible.
