Danny/Stiles has been gaining in popularity over... maybe the last two or three months? and I'm really grateful for that, as someone who wants a non-Sterek corner of the fandom to hang out in (I would read Scott/Isaac, but I kind of love Scott/Allison too much, and also I a lot of Scott/Isaac has background Sterek, or at least Sterek subtext). Still, Danny/Stiles is pretty tiny compared to Sterek. I've read maybe ten Danny/Stiles fics that I thought were really good? And considering that there are hundreds of Sterek fics (and, TBH, I am spoiled and have mostly shipped ships with large following until now), it still feels a little lonely over here.

I'm glad it is getting more popular for you guys. Honestly I think this is the beginning of the Sterek backlash, so I have a feeling other pairings are gonna start popping up more frequently.

I'm hoping the trend continues! Honestly, I have nothing against Sterek, it's just when you're a multishipper in a fandom where the one pairing you don't ship is completely ubiquitous it can be hard to really participate.

But I do think that the number of people who are avoiding the main body of Teen Wolf fandom because they don't ship Sterek is kind of reaching the critical mass where a subfandom will emerge. Once people who want to ship non-Sterek things start seeking each other out to fangirl together, rather than just assuming they are alone, it should at least slowly start to snowball.

This. I tend to pick a pairing and stay to it, cause that's just how I roll. but I do want there to be more options for people who don't ship Sterek. I primarily read Sterek, but I do think the backlash it is getting is rather deserved. I just tend to stay in a small corner of it that manages (most of the time) to stay sane.

I actually am confused by the lack of other pairings. I mean the show is comprised of incredibly attractive twenty-somethings (and Papa Argent. Yum) running around at night and frequently in shirtless in locker rooms. It's a goldmine for a treasure trove of pairings.
