(Anonymous) 2012-10-25 02:00 am (UTC)(link)Secondly, as I've said repeatedly from the very beginning, if a person really wants to have a conversation about this issue they're so concerned about, they'd recognize and appreciate that accusing "the listener" of something (especially if, as you say, they know that's not always/necessarily the case) also serves absolutely nothing. If you want to make assumptions and refuse to acknowledge any points someone has and be hypocritical, don't pretend you want to have a conversation.
And now I'm so done. I have better things to do than try to point out that "not everyone is like that" has almost nothing to do with what I've been saying.
