Hollywood is a business, and as long as there's money to be made, they're going to keep the franchise going. Especially with something as massive with as many moving parts and as many people invested as the Marvel film franchise - it's not something where one person has enough control to stop the machine from moving. It's gonna be how it's gonna be.
And the thing to remember is that, whatever they come out with, however bad it is, it doesn't change what already existed. That exists, and it'll always exist, just like it already does.
