(Anonymous) 2012-10-28 04:14 am (UTC)(link)"Oh, kids will be kids" has been trivializing bullying for ages. Now people are finally waking up to the reality of what real bullying can do to kids. It's awful that it was a rash of suicides that brought this to national attention, but it's a start. Now people won't dismiss real problems so easily.

Also, people will continue to dismiss real problems even though they pay attention to *one* that they'd been ignoring.
