Sort of my own secret based on these two:

My friend has Resident Evil 6 (I won't get it because I'm broke as fuck as it's not worth the money as far as I've been told) and he kept me updated on all the storylines involving the characters. He still haven't gotten too far with Chris's storyline because he hates Chris and said it's too much like Modern Warfare (army-like). I never admitted to him that the reason I want him to play Chris so much is because of those two.

You should ask to be his co-op partner! Play as Piers. You'll get to see the story firsthand, and it might make getting through the campaign easier for him.
Your reason is that you "want to play the game but can't afford it." ;)

Glad you didn't miss out on this pairing. You should never outgrow fanfic! As long as you keep craving more than what canon provides, there will always be a hole it fills. ;)
