Not entirely sure why this is a secret- there are plenty of people who don't like the show. Now, if you were going into forums to tell viewers how much you think it sucks, that would be a problem. Just general dislike? As an avid fan, it makes no difference to me.

I feel the same way about Vampire Diaries. I absolutely love vampires and supernatural dramas. I've watched so many cheesy versions of Dracula. I managed to watch two episodes of Vampire Diaries and holy cow did all the characters (except the psychic friend, I could watch a show if she were the main protagonist) rub me the wrong way.

I couldn't even finish the first book, let alone watch the show. So bad!

I haven't tried the books, but watched the show for a while. I couldn't tell whether the plot was meant to actually get somewhere, or if the only point was to show pretty people making out and getting constantly killed.

I gave up on it when I started dreading the episodes instead of enjoying them. Nothing is going to be enjoyable for everyone. *shrugs*

Really. Breaking Bad is just - dnw so hard i can't stand to watch the ads, and Game of Thrones, well - might be well made, but the books were a huge chore and i just have zero interest.

As a huge fan...i don't care? So long as you don't make comments in Show comms and/or on my fic posts or something ranting about it, it's kinda like being 'scared' to admit you don't like Sixty Minutes or Master Chef. To each their own!

As long as you're not an asshole about liking it, most people won't care. Unless you just have friends that are super into it and would be annoying and pushy about it if you let them know you didn't like it, I don't really think there's a problem.

im with you, op. no matter how hard i try, i cannot get into that show. and it should be right up my alley, considering other shows and movies that i like. i dont know if its the actors or the writing or what. but it just doesn't click with me.
