Nah white people can lecture people about 'cism*.

This is actually one of the things I find most problematic with a lot of modern activist thought. Now it certainly offers a unique perspective or insight to actually suffer the discrimination you're discussing, but it's not a requisite to understand the issues involved, and can in fact in many cases blind you to the approach you need to take.

It's tiresome the extent to which this subjectivity of experience has been used to render any and all possible input or campaigning outside those directly affected moot, which is quite frankly ridiculous. Especially given the importance on intersectionality.

*I am white as fuck for the record - the genetic personification of aryan, however, the forms of privilege I do lack have certainly followed almost the exact same dialogue, and whilst it's possible that race is entirely unique in this respect, I find it unlikely.

Yeah, this... I was once in a discussion about misogyny and a guy pitched in a thought that was very relevant and well-thought out, and a lot of women told him to GTFO cause of his male privilege and therefore his opinion didn't mean shit in this discussion. That pissed me off. His point was very valid and it was great to me that someone who doesn't experience misogyny every day still noticed it and gave a shit about it. And then he was told to shut up and piss off for it.

For many people in the oppressed group, the issue is that in talking about the particular privilege, members of the privileged group tend to talk over the oppressed group and ignore their voices, think they should win brownie points, and get offended when they are called out on whatever *ism being talked about because they couldn't possibly be offensive because they are allies.
