Jesus, I hate Joker/EDI with a fiery passion, and it's not because I ship Joker/fem!Shep (I do), and it's not because I hate EDI (I actually really love her), but because, to me, they really make zero sense. I love them as friends, but this pairing seems to be so forced, at least in my opinion. Their friendly banter is great, but the romance stuff was really badly handed.

And I'm the same with Tali/Garrus. Love them as friends, can't understand the pairing at all.

(But, to be honest, I'm of those few who are really not that big on Garrus/fem!Shep either. I romanced him in my first playthrough and by the time I got to ME3, I was cringing every time there was a romantic scene. Never again. Their friendship, on the other hand, is one of my favourite relationships in those games.)

IA about the Garrus romance in ME3. I stopped shipping it a few years back, but I did the romance for old times' sake. It was cute at first, ngl, but with each scene it just got more and more like a typical F!Shep/Garrus fan fic (complete with talk of adopting children, tho' I don't know if that was genuine or a jab at the idea by the writer) to me and my 'NOPE' reflex kicked in.

And I also agree about Joker and EDI. I liked them better when they were bickering (albeit one-sided bickering) like an old married couple, but them as an actual couple is not my cuppa. (Not to mention how problematic it is at first, but that's another pandora's box for another time)
