While I think she should've told him she was leaving, I understand why she wanted to leave, and considering what Rumple did later... I kinda don't doubt if she had told him, he would've snapped and strangled her or something.

But yea, I completely agree that he wanted the relationship to work, but on his own terms; he didn't want to change anything or make any sacrifices. Healthy relationships are all about give and take so when he refused her only request I knew they wouldn't work out.

I'm not at all surprised that people are saying she deserved it. This fandom will forgive their villains just about everything and anyone who opposes or upsets them shouldn't be allowed to live.

Oh, agreed again. He used to be a fun character but the more I learn about his past and the more I see of his and Belle's relationship, the less I like him. He's pretty unlikable AND unforgivable now, just like Regina is.
