I haven't read too many Tyzula fics (it's been ages since I've really been in A:TLA fandom, and even then I never got into Tyzula), but of the ones I have read, most of them are...basically Ty Lee teaching Azula how to not be abusive. Most of them went with the angle of Azula just mimicking her dad in her relationships, and all she needed was true love and a little guidance to have a healthy relationship instead of the toxic ones her dad preferred. *shrugs*

Maybe I just got lucky. Or maybe staying away from Tumblr fandom played a much bigger role in the types of stories I stumbled across than I thought.
